What We Do
Whether you’re considering selling your business, exploring a partial exit, or thinking about a management buy-out, we’ve got the knowledge, guidance and commitment needed to make it happen.
With our personal, hands-on approach, you'll feel fully supported every step of the way.
Business Sale
Deciding to sell your business is often the biggest decision a company owner faces - it is the culmination of years of dedication, so it's crucial to get it right. A full disposal will enable you to sell all of your business asset. In return, you’ll receive cash or shares, either all at once or over a period of time known as an earn-out.
Every organisation is unique, and so is every sale. That is why we will take the time to understand your business, as well as your emotional and financial objectives. This allows us to tailor the process to your specific requirements, from document preparation through to connecting you with potential buyers. We will take control of the entire selling process, proactively managing the transaction to ensure a smooth process that delivers against your objectives.
Partial Exit
Partial exits allow you to cash in a portion of your wealth while keeping a stake in the business for future growth. This option may require raising more capital which could be from debt, private equity, or a mix of the two.
If you’re looking to do a partial exit, we will do a number of things: We check how the business is doing now and what future opportunities it has. Then, we work with you to decide how much of the business you want to sell and how much to keep. We find the best sources of finance, make a plan to attract investors, and reach out to them using our wide network. We also negotiate the terms of the funding and handle everything else needed, making sure the whole process keeps moving smoothly and the deal gets done on time.
Management Buy-Out (MBO)
Management buyouts (MBOs) give the management team the opportunity to purchase the business from the existing owner. It’s essentially just another way to partially or fully exit your business, while allowing the management team to share in its future growth.
That said, these deals can get complex, and often involve multiple people with different objectives. Plus, the management team may not have the money to buy the business, which means bringing in private equity or debt, adding more complexity to the mix.
With our experience in leading MBOs, we’ll help you negotiate the terms and price, introduce you to the right funders or investors if needed, and make sure everything runs smoothly with all the other professional advisors involved, making sure you get the deal that’s just right for you.
